Garforth Golf Club was proud to host an unforgettable charity golf day in Leeds, led by our Head Professional, Aidan Healey, who successfully raised over £30,000 in support of the incredible Dreamflight charity.

The event was a brilliant celebration of golf, community, and generosity. From the moment players arrived to a bacon sandwich and warm welcome, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and goodwill. The golf course was in fantastic condition, setting the perfect stage for a competitive but fun day of play, all in the name of a worthy cause.

Throughout the day, guests enjoyed a range of fundraising activities including a raffle, an auction packed with fantastic prizes, and a light-hearted “guess the number of tees” challenge. Our halfway house was full of energy, offering food and drinks that kept everyone fuelled for the back nine. After the round, everyone came together for a BBQ and drinks, rounding off a truly special day.

Aidan’s passion for Dreamflight and the support from members, guests, and sponsors made this golf day in Leeds one to remember. Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed—your kindness will help make dreams come true for children with serious illnesses and disabilities.
