We offer a warm welcome to junior golfers of all abilities, gender and capability. Whether you’ve played elsewhere or it’s the first time you’re picking up a club you’ll find yourself welcome with us.
We offer training and coaching to help make the game enjoyable with sessions held by volunteers and our professional team alike. We have established links with the Grass Roots Golf Foundation and offer the facilities to complete the Passport to Golf Certification. There are regular competitions and initiatives giving plenty of opportunities to get out on the course too.
We’re extremely proud of our Junior section, with a number of our section going on to play representative golf in the last few years, but we know to get to this level the first thing is to make it fun and welcoming so kids want to come back again and again.
We work with the Leeds Well School Partnership, which is a government run scheme focussing on:
- Putting health and Wellbeing at the heart of schools
- Putting the Education into PE, physical activity and school sport programmes
- Providing lots of opportunities for all children to participate in competitions, events and festival
- Providing PE Subject Leadership support
The Leeds Well School Partnership is a city-wide offer but with a localised approach to support schools.
Each group of local, like minded schools work together to promote and develop, through collaboration and partnership, a sustainable system for physical activity, PE, sport and well-being that enriches and makes a real difference to the lives of all children and young people in that area.
Please contact the office on 0113 2863308 if you are interested in either joining or just coming along for a trial to see if it’s for you.
